Where do I start?

- with Jesus :)

God loves you so, so much. He sent Jesus just for YOU. When you accept Him and believe this miracle, you no longer have to strive for perfection because you are completely covered and taken care of by Him, from now into eternity. He loves you, and He wants to be with you every single moment of every day. (John 3:16-17)

What's next?

- the rest of your life with Him

Knowing the truth of who God says you are and the miracle of what Jesus has done for you allows you to live FREE from striving, perfection, and fear!!! You are completely blameless in His sight. (Colossians 1:22)

From here on out it is a daily walk with Jesus as you continually learn to live from this place. "Live Made Well" is a space designed to come alongside you as we all are learning to do this, one day at a time.

Presenting Carlee :)

She has the most contagious smile you’ll ever encounter, spends all her days in the sunshine with friends and family, and simply beams with the joy of the Lord!

Carlee is on a mission to increase her strength to achieve a pull-up without any assistance! While working on this goal, she is also aiming to boost her endurance to fully enjoy the time she spends outside hiking and going on walks.

Currently, Carlee strength-trains in the gym twice a week, does a 20-minute bodyweight workout once a week at home, and aims for two outdoor walks per week.

A fun fact about Carlee is that she calls her outdoor walks “sunshine walks,” where she heads outside to soak up the sun while moving her body and taking in the beauty of God’s creation ☀️ If you’ve never been on a sunshine walk, you’ve got to ASAP.

Meet Kelby :)

She works incredibly hard, adores all things The Parent Trap (Disney movie), and despises push-ups.

We have been working together in person for 9 months & have now transitioned to online training as she has moved and is preparing for her upcoming wedding 🤍
Fun fact: The wedding is in exactly 47 days!!!!

Kelby’s height and athletic background have made her more susceptible to back injuries over the past few years. So, in addition to getting wedding-ready, we put a large emphasis on strengthening the proper muscles to prevent back pain and any future injuries!

On days Kelby is not in the gym, she enjoys taking her dog Walley on walks or competing with her fiancé @joemichaelpleasant during his workouts 💪

Introducing Lacie :)

She is so fun and passionate about staying active! Formula 1 racing, vacations, and dogs really make her smile 😄

Lacie is on her midlife journey, learning to maintain and build lean muscle to keep herself strong and healthy! Building lean muscle is very important to her because she wants to continue doing what she loves, help regulate her hormones, and prevent osteoporosis.

Lacie currently comes in to strength train 2x per week! She travels for work, so she enjoys finding other ways to stay active by walking through airports or heading to Pilates!

Fun fact: She has a tropical fitness retreat coming up! 👀

Hi I’m Alyx :)

Coming sooner than soon- I have asked the amazing people I have the privilege of training to be bold and vulnerable to share with you their living made well journey.

The Lord recently asked me the same thing- Alyx, would you be bold and vulnerable to share too?
It makes sense He would ask that, so I sat down with Him and began asking- Lord, in what area would you like me to begin being intentional on improving?

The goal I’ll be learning to live is taming my love for sugar. Let me tell you, it’s a fierce one 😅

Stay tuned for the times I crush it but also the times I don’t.

The ultimate goal in this is not perfection, it’s just learning to take care of the body He’s given me🔸

What a sweet and wild ride this fitness adventure is, thank you Jesus.
From little league sports to travel ball, then high school and college sports, a degree in health promotion and wellness and the amazing time I’ve gotten to spend being a group fitness instructor, and now to the beginning of my dream being a personal trainer.
It brings tears to my eyes being able to look back and see how all of these key milestones have played a role in my life setting the stage of where I get to be today. Each piece has matured in me a deeper and more passionate love of wellness and helping people along on their own fitness adventure.
Thank you Lord, I’m so grateful for this journey you’ve had me on and that I get to continue the ride.
